Bill, the game tonight starts at 7:30 (not 7) and is an NBC Sportsnet ("Wednesday Night Rivalry") exclusive. (It is not being telecast on CSN in either Philadelphia or Washington.) Doc Emrick will do PxP with Edzo (color) and Pierre ("Inside the Glass").

I am very glad to see Gagne back in orange and black. I've been hoping for this move for awhile now!

He won't score half as much as he used to, but he can help this team in so many ways.

As a side note, I just got my profit sharing check from my employer and I want to blow some cash on a new Flyers jersey because I have no active Flyers players (miss you Richards).

I am stuck on deciding between Hartnell and Couturier, but now I am wondering if I should get Gagne... he used to be my # 1 favorite NHLer.

I don't think Holmgren is that dumb.

The Caps wish they were 11-8-0. They're 7-10-1.

I'd go with a white Couturier jersey personally.

As much as I enjoy listening to Doc, as he is 1000 times better than Jim Jackson and probably the best commentator in all sports, and I don't have to be annoyed by Steve Coates, I despise Pierre Maguire and Eddie Olcyzk. Those guys constantly kiss the rear end of certain players like Sidney Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin and every other supposed superstar that doesn't wear Orange and Black!

Gotta go with Giroux! Incredible young hockey player, face of the franchise, superstar in the making (if not already) and will be a Flyer for life!

Unless the Jets are dumb enough to take a deal centered around Cousins and spare parts I don't know how this deal makes any sense.

I also dont understand why people keep throwing Couturier out there in trade scenarios. If he wasn't getting moved for Weber he's not getting moved for Buff, Yandle, Subban etc.

Emrick has a terribly annoying voice; like a hyperactive gnome. And he spends half the time talking about stuff that has nothing to do with what's happening on the ice, and the other half shoving in his awful catch phrases like "waffle-board". Just call it a blocker like everyone else does.

- my brother bought himself an orange Giroux jersey, and I bought him an orange B Schenn, so I don't want to get either of those two players

- I currently own an unnamed black jersey and a white Richards jersey

- I want a Canadian player who will be a Flyer for a long time and I do not fear the Holmgren trade curse/jinx/whatever

-it's gotta be ORANGE!!!

While you may be right about Olcyzk, Pierre gave the Flyers - particularly Coach Laviolette - praise last Wednesday. He also praised former Flyer Mike Richards while he was in the O&B. He does overdo it when it comes to praising 1 guy, but is otherwise a good colour commentator.

I think Emrick is the best hockey broadcaster in the business right now. His call on the last Flyer/Pens game was amazing.

Luke Schenn. You can match your brother at games then with 10 & 22.

I agree about the orange. Hate the white jerseys. I own one, but only because it was deeply discounted. Pronger 2010 WC jersey. Hardly ever wear the thing.

Good luck guessing who'll be here a long time apart from G. I'd say Couturier, but I recently received a Grossmann jersey as a belated bday present. Of course, with Gagne back, I now have 3 relevant jerseys (Hartnell is the other).

I have 3 jerseys.. Carter, Richards, JvR.

Lets just say I am not allowed to get pictures with players or buy their jerseys if we want them to stay around.
